Anything marked Coming is on the way and not here yet, so don't pick a plan for it. Voice and photo limits exist because they cost us real money to process. Everything else on Squire is unlimited. Prices include VAT.
Getting paid
You pick what suits the job. None of this is commission, and none of it applies unless you use it.
Your bank details go on the invoice, the client pays you directly, and you mark it paid. This is how Lancelot works today and it stays free on every plan, for good.
Coming soon. The client taps to pay and it lands in your account. Less than most card readers charge, with nothing to carry to the job.
Coming soon. A deposit is held by us until the job, and if the client doesn't turn up you keep all of it. Protected payment means the client pays before you start and we hold it until the job is done. If they dispute the work and we find in their favour, we refund them out of what we're holding, never more, so you can't end up owing us.
The protection fee is the client's choice and the client's cost, and we never take a cut of a deposit. Protection isn't added to your price and you never pay it; a client who'd rather send a bank transfer pays nothing at all. A deposit is your money for your time, and a no-show is your loss to recover, not ours to share in.

We're building Lancelot with our first heroes, and while we're doing that we'd rather have your feedback than your money. Everything in Knight is switched on, free, until we turn payments on.
When that happens you'll get 30 days notice by email. Founding Heroes stay at £18 a month on Knight for as long as the subscription runs. Squire is free for everyone's first three months. Cancel it and come back later and you're on whatever the price is that day, the same way a phone tariff works.
